Lisa Langford
Veterinary Surgeon (Director)
BVM&S MRCVS
Lisa graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 1989 and has worked at the Vale Veterinary Group since then. Lisa became a partner in the practice in 1997 and now has over thirty years experience in small animal practice. She has a particular interest in medicine especially the diagnosis and treatment of Chronic Kidney Disease in cats. In her spare time Lisa volunteers for Street Vet, a charity that provides free veterinary care for pets belonging to homeless people on the streets of Birmingham.
Will Trewarman

Will graduated from Cambridge University in 2014 and completed a post graduate certificate in veterinary dermatology from Liverpool University. Currently Will is working towards passing his exam to become a fully fledged Veterinary Dermatologist.
Will also particularly enjoys managing chronic cases and believes passionately in the owner-vet team in overcoming clinical challenges.
Outside work, he is run ragged by his 2 daughters, 2 cats and Elsie the Labrador, but loves growing things on his allotment and cooking them up into imaginative dishes.
Anastasia (Anna) Roberts

Anna has worked at the practice since November 2021.She graduated from Cambridge Vet School in 2009 and has been working in first opinion small animal practices since then . Anna lives in Stourport and her spare time is taken up by looking after her three dogs and two horses.
Nick Abbott

Originally from Kent, Nick graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2022 and started work at The practice two months later in September.
His interests lie in diagnostic imaging and soft tissue surgery, as well as the husbandry of small mammals and birds.
Nick has two cats - Lenny and George, who keep him on his toes! Nick also enjoys gardening and playing sports like rugby or squash.

Charlotte started working for Vale Veterinary Group as a kennel assistant after completing 4 weeks work experience and then went on to enrol as a Student Veterinary Nurse. Charlotte qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in April 2019. Charlotte's main interests lie in in patient care and emergency and critical care. Charlotte has a Border Collie Blu and two rabbits Frank and Ziggy Stardust.

Vicky completed her degree in Veterinary Nursing at Hartpury College and became a qualified RVN in 2010. Since then Vicky has gained experience at several practices including an orthopaedic referral practice in Worcester. Vicky is also one of our clinical coaches for our student nurses and enjoys the teaching aspect of her job as well as the nursing side.

Carly qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2004 after completing a degree in veterinary nursing at Hartpury college. She has worked in small animal practice ever since. Her interests include surgical and theatre nursing. She spent 9 years working in an orthopaedic referral practice and enjoys nursing orthopaedic cases.

Meg joined the practice in 2012 as a student veterinary nurse after spending time here on work experience and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in April 2016. In practice, Meg enjoys consultations especially weight clinics, and inpatient care. In her spare time, Meg enjoys baking, walking her dogs in the countryside and showing her Pointers all around the country

Jess has been working in the veterinary industry for 5 years. She joined the practice nursing team as a student Veterinary Nurse in March 2023.
Jess has had a passion and interest of animals since a young age and is excited to start her nursing journey. At home, Jess lives with her husband, little boy, cat Domino and dog Kiara.

Katie joined the practice in April 23 as a Student veterinary Nurse and is currently enjoying her course to train as an RVN as she has always had an interest in animals from a young age. Katie lives at home with 4 cats and a Labrador, Buddy. In her spare time Katie enjoys going for long walks with Buddy and socialising with friends and family.

After spending 20 years working for and with the NHS I moved from human care to that of animals and joined the practice as Practice Manager in 2009. Outside work my time is predominately taken up with Tachie & Blaney, my very active Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever’s that I try to tire out with agility, flyball and long walks.

Julie has worked at the practice for 17 years and very much enjoys her job especially on reception welcoming clients and their pets, where every day is different and sometimes challenging! Julie has two gorgeous grandsons who call her Nanny Ju ! Julie likes to spend as much time with her family as possible.

Lesley joined the practice in August 2019 as part of the reception team.
She has 2 grown up children and 2 young grandsons who she loves spending time with.
Lesley also has a a crazy boxer dog called Sid.

Mandy has worked at the practice for many years and has recently returned having taken a break to work in the property industry and for another local practice. Mandy loves cats and also likes walking ,gardening, and re vamping old furniture
Angie Williams

Angie joined the practice recently in September 2021.
Angie's background is in customer service so is used to
looking after people. Angie has a family of 3 children and 2 dogs
Angie is gaining new experiences every day and enjoying meeting our clients.

In May 2005 he joined the Vale Veterinary Group, effectively coming home having seen practice here for many years, first as a school pupil and then as a university student. Coming from London via Cambridge, Somerset and the Wirral, I find myself settled in Worcestershire, enjoying the countryside with my 4 cats and concentrating on the small animal patients at the Vale Vet Group. I am passionate about theatre, whiskey and travel. I recently achieved a lifetime’s ambition by reaching the top of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Zara qualified from the Royal Veterinary College London in 1993 and joined the practice in 2023.
Zara has recently returned to small animal work after working with horses for many years.
Zara is married with teenage children and enjoys walking with her 2 dogs in the forest and acting as a taxi service for her son's sporting activities.

I live with my partner and together we have Hetty our miniature wire dachshund and Miss Potts our cat who I hand reared. I have a keen interest in travel and a passion for history which I hope to explore more in the coming years.

My main activities outside work are horse riding and walking our six family dogs. Inside work the large animal, equine and practical side of nursing interest me greatly.

I joined the Stourport Practice in January 2012 as a student nurse after working for a local dog rescue, I have completed my training and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in March 2015. I like the variety of patients that we get to see in a mixed practice, and I also enjoy the challenges of intensive care nursing. At home I have a boxer dog called Dukey who keeps me on my toes.

Having relocated from Birmingham I started at the practice as a receptionist in March 2009. I live in Stourport with my husband Steve. I have a German Pointer called Oscar who enjoys taking me for a walk.

I joined Vale Veterinary Group in December 2002 as a receptionist. I have two grown up daughters Frances and Emily. We have a menagerie of pets at home taking up most of my spare time and enjoy water colour painting and listening to live bands that play locally.

Having previously worked at our Stourport practice until 2010, I returned to Vale Vets in July 2014 mainly based at Kidderminster practice as a receptionist. At home I have two Kune Kune pigs called Rhubarb and Custard, chickens, a rabbit called Tetley and a young Boxer dog called Jax so with the rest of my spare time I enjoy walking, swimming and going to the cinema.
